Inman, South Carolina is the home of the Inman Children's Teatre company. Mr. Milner's father runs the ICT, while Mr. Milner runs the Baillie Players traveling Children Company. The ICT theatre serves as Mr. Milner's home base. From here, he packs up costumes, props, and sound equipment to travel from state to state so hundreds of kids like me can participate in different drama camps and school residencies. If you click the marquee below, you can check out the ITC's website. There's also a YouTube video posted will give you a sneak peek at how much planning, energy, and effort goes into children's drama.
I'm the most excied about getting to travel all the way to New York City! Our production is an Off-Broadway musical. Did you know that the difference between a musical being Brodway or Off-Broadway is the number of seats in the theater? Broadway theaters have at least 500 seats in the audience, but Off-Broadway shows have fewer. We'll be performing in the Cullum Theater at The American Theater of Actors. It has 125 seats in the audience. There's a famous musical called Urinetown that won three Tony awards; it rose to popularity right there in the Cullum Theater!
